Poor to say the cost...

Disliked: Cleanliness. Wife had to complain about the poor cleanliness and lack of housekeeping of the ground floor female toilets. Smelled of urine and no toilet roll. Initial staff reception was poor and uninviting. You are in the hospitality business. Be hospitable and inviting! Stayed for 3 nights. For two nights we were restricted from using the ground floor bar area due to wedding reception. Felt like second class guests. If you are taking in income for a wedding, provide a dedicated bar on the mezzanine for the wedding and allow hotel guests(paying premium prices) to enjoy use of the facilities paid for. All in all, very disappointed.

Lovely hotel by the waterfront

Liked: Fantastic staff. Great breakfast, lots to choose from with hot food ordered from the menu. Atmospheric restaurant. Spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Dock area and city centre walkable. Cargo seafood restaurant a few minutes walk away (lovely).
Disliked: Hot water in the shower was too hot, couldn’t turn it colder. Air conditioning effective though smelt of cannabis from time to time?!

Excellent and comfortable stay at...

Liked: The location was excellent, everything within walking distance. We had to travel by train, as the hotel does not have parking, and the neighbouring multi-storey car park was full. I tried to book parking in advance and was told there were no spaces.
Disliked: The hotel does not have parking, but it was unusual that the multi-story parking next door was completely full. Check first, the car park does have a website.
