Very nice would stay again

Liked: Very nice hotel. Staff super-friendly and helpful. Had a cream tea in the restaurant which was delicious.
Disliked: A little disappointed in the room especially as it was an upgrade from the standard room. Some of the furniture is a little dated. The lights were a little confusing with some of the switches not doing anything. These were minor problems which didn’t affect our stay.

Good value - great location

Liked: Good breakfast, easy check in, nice communal areas. Fantastic location.
Disliked: Shabby paintwork in some areas, the balcony to our room was ‘closed for maintenance’ and had rubbish out there and dead plants. The sign on the door was very crumpled so had obviously been closed for a long time. Hotel was clearly very modern when first built but needs a bit of an update now.

Disliked: Number of dogs there.Reception staff ignored you as you walked by, a good morning or small acknowledgement would have been polite.
