Basic room for price of...

Liked: The location is great - quiet street but also very near the town centre
Disliked: We paid for an upgrade to a club deluxe room, but the layout and the furnishings are not deluxe and in need of refreshing. The washbasin was cracked and patched, the electric radiator is wired to the room circuit which means it stays on when you have your room key in the room electrical switch (I.e. the whole time you are in the room even when it was 27 degrees);The water jug part on the coffee machine is cracked.The air conditioning doesn’t work;The toilet/shower/bath are inside the room and not enclosed separately - the fittings have the look and feel of a nursing or care home more than a hotel. The glass door of the shower cubicle is sharp, the ‘massage’ soap provided is dangerously as it is super slippy in the shower, one side of the shower is left open which means you can accidentally spray water right over to the bed.

Liked: Did not have breakfast. Great location. Attended a party at hotel so that was main reason we stayed there
Disliked: Scaffolding around building. Only found out when went into room. Also carpet bit grubby and windows dirty due to building work. Also cobweb plus spider in room
