Amazing hotel and restaurant
Liked: Fantastic hotel & spa.
Disliked: Only gripe was trying to get a menu and drinks on the terrace. Took three atempts to get served.

Superb
Liked: Beautiful hotel, gorgeous grounds, room was lovely. Spotless.
Disliked: Drinks service time was shocking. Asked three times whilst sitting waiting at a table for a drink.Surprising addition of a huge service charge in the final bill despite us not eating there.

A very enjoyable stay in...
Liked: Lots of character. Especially enjoyed the complimentary hour in the spa.
Disliked: Found the room too warm at night and needed to open the window.

Lovely character hotel but let...
Liked: Beautiful grounds and very nice spa/swimming pool facility. Lovely breakfast, good quality food. Staff at the Asian restaurant were very helpful and offered a great service. The whole hotel was kept very clean.
Disliked: No air conditioning in room. A fan was provided but this was little help. Weather was exceptional but would have expected better for the price. Also, very disappointed that we were restricted to using the spa / swimming pool only once for our one night stay. If we were to use a second time (say in the morning before departure) we were told we would have had to pay an extra £15. We've never experienced this before in other hotels and felt this was very poor. Lastly, service in main bar was very slow. Ourselves and guests nearby had to wait a considerable time to be served.

Lovely, would come back!
Liked: Beautiful hotel with really helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Delicious breakfast
Disliked: Not the hotel’s fault: we were there in a heatwave and the only room cooling was fans.The spa has to be pre-booked even to access the pool which is a bit irritating
