Liked: Location of course.
Disliked: The room wasn?t very clean. There were food crumbs on the room menu and my husband wiped the coffee table with a washcloth and it was black. The bathroom door wouldn?t close and the main door latch was broken.

Liked: Wonderful COVID getaway. It was quiet and they were following the rules. I felt very happy and safe.

Liked: The staff who dropped off the food and handles the facilities were nice. Bacon was good.
Disliked: Unbelievably overpriced and the front desk staff was quite rude (one woman in particular, whose name coincidentally rhymes with malice). We got in late Thursday night and when we were shown to our $1,300 a night room (in covid, in January) it was honestly disappointing. There were stains on the rug and couch and it was a little shabbier than expected. The view is beautiful of course but for 1300 a night, there needs to be a little more than that. I went back to talk to the front desk about how the pictures of the room didn?t seem reflective of what we were actually met with and I was told that they?ll ?email marketing? at booking.com and that if I want, there?s another suite for 200 dollars more a night. I mentioned the stains and shabbiness and there was no apology or let me see what other room we have available or even acknowledgment of what I said. It was clear she did not care in the slightest what guests thought of the hotel. On the second night, our tv would only play about three channels. We had someone come and take a look and he said he reset it and it might be fixed in a minute or too or might take ?forever?. Unsurprisingly, it was the latter. It never worked. We paid 19.99 for a movie (which the guy at checkout did comp for us when I explained the situation). Overall, it?s worth 500 dollars a night, not 1,300. Especially when some of the service is that rude. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.
