Lovely Maleny

Liked: The lovely girl who cleaned our room
Disliked: Drink places at the pub. Think that`s why the locals aren`t there much anymore

Great, bed was comfortable and...

Liked: The beds were very comfortable. You could hear the pub downstairs but the noise was nice and the music turned off around 10. Staff on shift that night were amazing. The power in our room went out at 9:30 and everyone downstairs in reception and the bar area were finishing up their shifts and going home but still stayed and helped us fix our problem. Called a few people and then we went hunting for the braker switch with one of the lovely ladies. Cleaner lady was also lovely and very friendly and said hi to us in the morning
Disliked: Room smelt a bit musty (though you didn't notice after being in it a while), someone's used towel was on a hook behind the door but this is a very easy thing to miss (as a cleaner for a few months I know this very well). So other than maybe double checking the room before declaring it done, i have no further tips!

Liked: Ease of check-in and access to the rooms. Grateful they were able to accommodate a slightly earlier check-in time.
Disliked: We were aware of shared bathroom but found it painful to get to and from the bathrooms. Our room also had two doors with curtains but backed on to the bathroom so had light and noise from other people using the bathrooms.

Disliked: No chair?? Was chair there last time.. in same room.

Liked: Always like staying at the Maleny Hotel. Such a beautiful old building in the Queensland tradition, right in town and close to all the shops, sympathetically renovated, nice decor, comfortable bed, air conditioned rooms. Friendly staff only too eager to please, nice dining area, very popular at meal times. Will definitely stay again next time we pass through Maleny.

Liked: Was a great stay, staff were super nice and the family room was the perfect room for our group. Being directly on the main street made it super easy to walk up to all the shops and restaurants.
