On the whole we enjoyed...

Liked: Location and staff were amazing
Disliked: The double bed was a small 3ft bed and very uncomfortable for two the lights in our room was very dull

Enjoyable 2 days in cork....

Liked: Breakfast was fairly good . Selection was varied.

The noise in the morning...

Liked: The breakfast was nice with lots of choose from, the tongs in the hot buffet had tomato bean sauce all over them though, I think I just got unlucky maybe a kid was there before me
Disliked: We were very disappointed to be woken by a Kango hammer at 7:30am right outside our window. The noise was just brutalHad we been informed about this in advance at check-in, we would have requested and paid more for a different room, or at the very least been prepared for the disruption. The room was presented as an upgrade, so this was particularly unfortunate.Part of the reason we booked was to enjoy a rare lie-in away from our children after a busy summer, so it was disappointing to be woken by such a noisy machine especially when paying €179 for the night.I feel this could have been managed better with clearer communication at check-in, as it would have set expectations fairly.

Great stay, will visit again

Liked: Location was great, cafe in the lobby for for a quick coffee and breakfast was easy, lots of food and restaurant options and close walk to all of the sites
Disliked: The parking was a good price, but was a 5 to 10 minute walk away from the hotel.
