Quiet and comfortable stay

Liked: It was near the train station and in front of a bus stop and by the sea. The hotel is new and the food was good.
Disliked: The cleaning service was'nt the best

Liked: The location was excellent, chosen for proximity to a nearby hospital. The staff were exceptional- so accommodating, helpful,friendly and professional. The range of food available was family friendly and of a high standard. It was spotlessly clean and had a lovely calm atmosphere. All in all our stay was totally enjoyable.

Disappointing

Disliked: We were overcharged at reception when checking in for parking but in fairness the receptionist brought this to my attention and just told us as we were eating in the restaurant she would let them know and the extra money we incorrectly charged for would be deducted from our meal. I explained this in the restaurant they said they couldn't do that and advised it would be best to pay for all at checkout in the morning which was fine but when we left the restaurant we were followed to the lift ,I had an elderly sick woman with me who had just attended her sisters funeral and demanding we go up to reception there and then and pay the bill . . There were people in the lobby looking at us and it was very embarrassing and my mum had to stand and wait for me as she could not go up to the room in her own so to be honest it made a very hard ,sad day even worse.
