You are definitely paying for the location. The room is very cramped and basic. The toilet had a fault and water ran all night. Bathroom looked like a dog had been locked in there and chewed the skirting/door. Air con spluttering out dust. Disappointed at £144 for one night.
Liked: Cental location; everything close by.
Disliked: Overpriced.

Liked: Location and people!
Disliked: The fact there was confusion at the reception and she never checked me in properly, hence there was misunderstanding! Manager adjusted mistakes with the staff and gave me a generous discount because of the mistakes of the staff!

Highly commendable General.Mamager
Liked: The hotel is ideally located—just a five-minute walk from everything you could need. The food was excellent throughout our stay, but what truly set this visit apart was the after service experience Special recognition must go to General Manager Pamela O'Brien. She handled a tricky situation with genuine care and professionalism, going far beyond what we expected. Her sincere approach, attentive listening, and personal commitment made it feel more like a boutique experience than part of a large hotel group. It's rare to encounter such standout leadership in hospitality, and she’s someone any hotel would be lucky to have at the helm. This visit was part of a family gathering. While I’d usually perspnally opt for hotels like The Grand Central or The Fitzwilliam, I left this stay genuinely impressed—and will stay again for an upcoming conference in October. As someone who stays frequently with the Dalata group—including the Clayton in Chiswick last month and an upcoming stay in Ballsbridge in 2 week—I can confidently say this hotel exceeded expectations. Thank you for leaving me with such apositive experience.
Disliked: Some staff need better training however I understand this is affecting the hospitality trade across the board Plus it's such a transient industry
