Don't stay here!!

Liked: Location
Disliked: ? No information on check in regarding breakfast, dining, check out details ? Breakfast was awful ?15 each for absolute rubbish, waiting ages and had to ask for everything more than once Since the removal of the Buffet due to covid they need to reduce their price for Breakfast ?Safe in general were rude, the man who I think was the restaurant manager was polite.?Booked Dinner on our second night got dresses up food was nice but pricey booked for 7pm and after we ate the food @8pm we wanted to order a drink and were told they wouldn't serve us another drink since we had only 30mins left absolutely disgraceful when our bill came to ?170We had 1 bottle of wine between us and 2 drinks. We had nothing else booked so had to go back to our room.? No hotel parking so for 3 nights it cost ?60 on top of what we paid. Not a 4 star hotel. You'd get better in the travel lodge across the road.? Even as a resident of the hotel they're was no bar unless you were having food. Myself and my partner just went away for a quiet weekend as we had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and it was nothing but crap. So disappointed.

Passable

Disliked: We had to wait 2.5 hours for a family room/two double beds. Management did pay our overnight car parking at our request but we were close to cancelling and booking the Hilton across the road!

Handy.

Liked: Location was great. Safety re: Covid was good and felt safe.
Disliked: Bathroom wasn't clean. Tiles dirty. Floors dirty. Previous guest left sweets in drawer. If this wasn't cleaned, made me wonder what else wasn't cleaned.

Pleasant

Liked: The room and the view from it was nice .
Disliked: Young barman on the Saturday night couldn't have been any more unhelpful if he tried .Maybe his friends were out while he was working. Rude and unhelpful sums him up for me .Girl at reception very friendly and went out her way to gather some information for me .
