Mälardrottningen Yacht Hotel provides a unique experience aboard an elegant 73-yard yacht permanently docked at Riddarholmen Island next to Stockholm's charming Old Town. It features wonderful views of Riddarfjärden Bay. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout Mälardrottningen Hotel. Guests stay in cabins decorated with dark timber finish carpeting and portholes. Upon arrival guests enter the reception via a gangplank into a beautifully designed lobby with teak paneling and nautical décor. The TV lounge is found above the engine room which can be viewed through the glass floors. The glassed-in Mälardrottningen Restaurant is found on the fore deck facing City Hall and includes an open dining terrace. The bar is set in the former wheelhouse. Mälardrottningen Yacht Hotel is 1640 feet from Gamla Stan Metro Station and Stockholm Central Station is reached in about 10 minutes' on foot.

Poor

Disliked: Windows could not close properly and resulted in a constant cold draft in the room. Staff was not willing to help and I had to pack to the window opening with pillows.

Really cute hotel on a...

Liked: really good breakfast
Disliked: quite small rooms with a lot of baggage but the ambiance on the boat makes up for it - definitely worth it!

Disliked: The boat looks tired and everything is worn out. The breakfast was dreadful. Very little selection. And the quality felt cheap.

loved stockholm amd the hotels...

Liked: The deck is wonderful to relax on and the hotel managed to give us the room we requested - the beds are wonderful!! It’s a shame, the hotel feels a little down on its luck- it could do with a real spruce up!!!
