Beautiful boutique hotel with laid back atmosphere

Liked: Beautiful historic boutique hotel. We stayed in a king suite with kitchen and fire place. It was a large room with a nice sitting area with a couch. Gas fire place kept us warm and cozy when we needed. Bed was very comfortable. This room has a bathroom with a tub which is essential to me. Kitchen was great. Need larger bowls for breakfast serial. I loved everything about this hotel. It was a pet friendly room but we did not bring our dog. It was a large enough room to stay with our dog. Lots of fabulous restaurants just across from the hotel and they all have dog friendly covered outdoor seating area some with patio heaters. Perfect hotel to come and relax even with your dog. We will bring our dog next time for sure.
Disliked: Only thing we did not like was noise from room upstairs. We can hear someone walking in the room very clearly. Sound proofing was not very good.

Liked: Clean. Nicely appointed rooms with truly spectacular photography on the walls. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced cocktails and don't forget the carrot cake.
Disliked: Bed a tad firm.
