Tucked away with old Chicago charm, this place is a jewel. Several concert-goes were also here so it was fun discussing the show afterwards. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Liked: Old World atmosphere.
Disliked: Room got a little warm with radiator heat!

Liked: Quaint; very clean, including bathroom area. Ample wine and snack bar.
Disliked: Being an older hotel, the room space was smaller than accustomed to.

Liked: The entire staff from the laundry folks to the folk desk folks were all amazing and helpful. Thank you!
Disliked: Paper thin walls and all of the rooms had doors that SLAMMED shut every single time someone opened them. You won't get a wink of sleep from the sound of slamming doors all day and night.

An older and kinda drafty...
Liked: It was close to Lake Shore Drive, had parking available, and had large rooms and nice beds. The man at the desk was very friendly and helpful
Disliked: The windows in the rooms leaked air badly, the bathroom toilet was cramped in between the tub and wall and really short and the room had no heating vent, and the parking was a little walk away (but I guess that was close considering it was Chicago). We also had people marching around in the room above us.

Disliked: Parking situation. I understand that the price is driven by the location. That's OK. But why would one have to walk outside the hotel and around the building to get to the garage through the condominium entrance when the configuration of the property permits to make a direct pass?
