Disliked: The room was awful. The carpet was ripped. There was damp in corner in the bedroom above the furthest away bed. The bathroom was covered in mould across the roof. The tiles on the walls were black. The kettle looked like it hadn't been cleaned [I cleaned it].the floor boards were so noisy and when next door was in their shower it was so loud it woke us up and itI felt like I was in the same room with themNo public bar open until function started.The outside was dyer... delapatated, needed a lot of updating, Reurbished, . Very run down, plants needed attention. Most certainly not worth the money.

Liked: Beautiful buidling in a nice quiet town. Staff were nice and helpful, bed comfortable and room clean.I recommend this place
Disliked: No elevator

Nearly Not Quite.

Liked: Quiet,and good location.
Disliked: Information of meal times and non existing bar opening/closing times.

Pleasant but not the standard...

Liked: Food was good - had dinner there and two breakfasts. Location was handy for where I was going.
Disliked: Single room was small and looked old.

Reasonable for the price but...

Liked: Staff where friendly and the price paid was reasonable. Room / hotel was pretty clean though.
Disliked: The hotel was run down, mould in bathroom, room was very small and basic.

Liked: The bed was comfortable & staff were friendly
Disliked: The photos of the hotel on this website need updating because they are at least 15 years old. The place was so run down and untidy. Carpets coming away from the floor, dirty, dusty rooms. Someone's coat left in the wardrobe, clearly not checked by cleaner. Shower was a trickle that just hit the taps. Breakfast wasn't nice. Half a potato scone and a tablespoon of beans, 1 sausage and very fatty bacon. For the price paid, I was expecting a decent place to stay.

Liked: My bed was extremely comfortable. The room had all the amenities needed.
Disliked: The view from my room. I looked out onto the roof and back of building.
