A Grand Time in Campbellton!

Liked: The owner was a marvel! A true Acadien. We had some wonderful discussions. The house is amazing. I got lost a few times, lol - a true old Victorian mansion.

Perfection exists. Thank God!!!

Liked: Perfect hosts, believers in true hope that you will have "time to enjoy your time" here and a gorgeous place that feels warm and provides everything you want in a safe, welcoming, homebase during your travels. Family is so beautiful and I love the way I seem to have no problems at all at Mackenzie House. Great breakfast, good coffee, attentive service, respectful and friendly, sincere and authentic help in every way. Purely brilliant.
Disliked: Honest to Christ, it was a blessing from God to find this place. Sanctuary from a crazy world. Priceless. Don't miss your opportunity to spend time in this place, run by a family of saints. We need more people such as these in the world. Faithful to every one of their promises, God knows peace like this can only come from those who love others, themselves, and the Creator. Thank God for sage folks like the Bujold clan! It's a pleasure, a privilege, and an honour to rest my bones in your space.

Owner is very friendly but...

Liked: Owner is friendly. Location near Dalhousie was needed.
Disliked: A very old weird building. Breakfast of pancakes was ok. Very narrow and steep stairs. Shared bathrooms means shared with many people you don’t know….not great.

Loved it overall. Would definitely...

Liked: The ambiance, the atmosphere, the owner. You can feel the nostalgia and I can appreciate the time, effort and the maintenance on a historical property!
Disliked: Such a big house, was just a little confusing with so many rooms and different entrances/exits on the property. I didn’t mi D the stairs and such, but may not be suitable for some.

Very good

Liked: The house may be used as an airbnb/rental but it is actually a museum. As an antique collector myself I could not stop thinking about some of the things I saw there during my stay. None of the items seemed like props. Would have liked to chat more with him. Definitely a privilege to stay even for one night at this "business".
