Liked: Sleep
Disliked: Items in the room 31 were broken.In particular, my nightstand and some bathroom furniture. The electrical outlets were also poorly placed. There was no outlet near the bed.The pipes in the other rooms also made a lot of noise when in use.

We enjoyed the hotel’s location...
Liked: Excellent location.
Disliked: We were traveling with another couple and had 2 rooms. In one guest room the air conditioner placement made it difficult to feel the air. In the second guest room the ac was properly placed and there was no problem.

A great experience, and we...
Liked: The location alongside the cathedral is superb and the Maison Kammerzell is full of character. Dining outside is excellent and the food is good.
Disliked: the illuminated poles with the room numbers put out too much heat.

Black Forest Motorcycle Tour
Liked: Fantastic location, beautiful, and historical old building right next to the cathedral. Easy walking to most attractions, many restaurants
Disliked: Hotel rooms have not been looked after much. Carpet (worn and stained), chairs (worn cushions), bed sloping towards the head and very poor condition mattress, and bathroom fittings (moldy grouts, dysfunctional sink plugs, cracked sink) It wouldn't take much effort or budget to remedy the situation Sparse breakfast with mute staff, had to ask for Tea and Coffee, it wasn't offeredWould not stay here again

Excellent location, small room but...
Liked: Excellent location in front of the cathedral in an impressive historical building. Excellent price for the position
Disliked: The room was very small and under the roof, so being in summer it got quite warm throughout the day. AC was there but was a bit intermittent

Maintenance of accommodation should be...
Liked: Central location next to Citadel; staff were friendly
Disliked: Room maintenance was poor - no bedside table, no cupboard door handles; broken shower (shower rose holder); lighting poor. Breakfast was worst we had in Europe over our 4 weeks stay

Good hotel for short break
Liked: Location of hotel was excellent, staff were efficient and friendly.
Disliked: Room was not very "user friendly" as in the gables, Bathroom although good size diffi8cult to negotiate due sloping ceilings.Breakfast very basic and only one cup of coffee offered.
