Liked: The location was the only good part. It was close enough to walk every where and yet far enough that when the partying started on Bourbon St. you couldn't hear it.
Disliked: The room was falsely advertised, the staff was not accomodating, they said they were fully booked and every hotel in the area I checked was as well. They almost ruined my birthday weekend. Despite having a DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door housekeeping every day knocked on my door between 9am and 10am. I was charged $55 per day for a security deposit, even though booking.com says it is a one time $75 security depsoit, and no I did not have a vehicle as some people did when they were charged. The bath tub would fill up when showering because the faucet did not shut off when pulling the tab for showers.

Sweet bitter.

Liked: Beautiful courtyard, in French quarter district, beautiful room. Thank you.
Disliked: Asked to extend my stay and the clerk was unable to. He said he couldn't because the computer wouldn't let him. I told him I can pay cash and to please add two more nights. He said he couldn't and said something about the king room. I was very upset and it took more time and money to figure something else out.

Meh

Liked: Pool is great, everything else is sub par.
Disliked: The rooms were dated, housekeeping wasn’t the best. The bar and restaurant are rarely open . For their prices they could do a lot better. It’s a prettier motel 8. Front desk needs some training in class.

Poor

I enjoyed my stay at...

Liked: The room was nice and spacious, balcony overlooking the courtyard, room was nice and cool as it was very hot and humid outside. The bed was comfortable and the furniture was and gave a rustic feel. There’s also a pool in the courtyard. The location was perfect, literally just a couple minutes to Bourbon Street, and about a 5-10 minute walk to French Market, Jackson Square, etc. Close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away that you don’t hear the noise at night when you’re sleeping. There’s a bar, restaurant, and a little shop by the lobby as well. All staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Not to say I didn’t like it but there is a $50/night deposit at check in and I ended up having to pay $200 before getting my room key, they also have Valet parking which is $55 plus tax per night. There is street parking but during my stay it was very hard to find a spot on the street and Valet was more convenient. And the Valet staff were very friendly also.

Impressed

Liked: It was a really nice stay overall, the staff were amazing.
Disliked: We hadn't read the fine print so didn't realize it was $50 a day to park your car that pushed up the price by $220. Also when we left they charged us $6.50 on our credit card and were not sure for what tried to contact them to ask and didn't get a reply.
