Good value, proximity to train...

Liked: The staff is terrific and provided much needed guidance on local options such as the télépherique and local communes. I did not take breakfast but it looked good. They have coffee and tea available at all hours, very nice.
Disliked: The temperature in the room could not be adjusted, so it was a little stuffy for the springtime. I removed the blanket from the bed and just used the duvet cover, so it was ok.

The hotel is small but...

Liked: Very convenient. The hotel is very close to the railway station and not far to the city center. We were able to find a restaurant (with good wine) nearby still open after 9:40 in Sunday evening. The surrounding is quiet.The staff are very kind and helpful.

Liked: The room was quite small. We had two small twin beds that were pushed together. They were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect.The staff was also very friendly!
Disliked: The room was very small.

Everything we expected, except for...

Liked: Staff were great. Breakfast was good value. Room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Room was very very small and bathroom tiny. Parking was a nightmare and very very very expensive. Grenoble is not a car friendly city at all. If you are driving watch out for the restricted traffic zone that operates everyday except Sundays.
