Perfect for a bucolic getaway...

Liked: Beautiful location by the Arc river, underneath the spectacular Roquefavour aqueduct.
Disliked: It was a family hotel/restaurant that was bought a few years ago and renovated as economically as possible, not always in the best of taste. Rooms facing the road can be quite noisy.

Manageable for one night, if...

Liked: The location is very interesting and, probably in season, quite lively. The landscape with old trees and river, as well as the parking were wonderful.
Disliked: There was no one to help with my baggage going up steep steps. The bedroom was appallingly out of date and barely comfortable. The dining room was welcoming and pleasant, but the dinner fare over-priced. Breakfast the next day was a ridiculous disaster. I was on time but in stead of choosing from a buffet, was meant to sit at a table where a staff person had decided what I was having for breakfast, none of which was interesting to me.

Disliked: a party was happening so we were at the far end of the hotel ! no lights worked in the hall !
