MainStay Suites Knoxville North I-75

Great room at a great price. The room was great all together. The beds were very comfortable. Loved that there was a full kitchen. Anytime I stay anywhere there's always take home food and nowhere to keep it cold, so I loved that there was a fridge. The bathroom wasn't a bad size. I loved that I could bring my pet as well. And the staff was very friendly, nice, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Liked: Beds were extremely comfortable.
Disliked: Shampoo and soap.

Air conditioner did not work....

Liked: The location was great.
Disliked: Prior to arrival, I received a call regarding payment. I had to give my card information over the phone while driving because they didn't want to wait until I got there. Once I arrived, the person at the front desk was rude and off-putting. She acted as if performing her job was too much for her. I had to ask her several times to repeat herself. She just had a very nasty attitude. The air conditioner in the room did not work well at all. The room was hot. The bathroom wasn't clean. I asked for 2 extra towels and washcloths, and the same person from the night before told me i could have 2 towels and only one wash cloth, which I thought was strange. I just took what she had and went back to my room. I will never stay at this location again.

Will stay somewhere else next...

Liked: The room was clean and a good size.
Disliked: No cable TVRoom smelled of stale smoke, musty smell as wellUpon arrival,Front desk person was sleeping at desk...spoke three times, not a response...dropped my phone on counter..then she woke up. Another person in next room did nothing. While checking out no one was at front desk. The lady who was attending the breakfast area checked us out

Disliked: Outside of building had a heavy weed smell when we arrived. Night clerk was a bit discombobulated when we arrived.

Get rid of smoking inside...

Liked: Booking was easy
Disliked: Room was not clean, I would give it a 5 out of 10. For the smoking rooms they should add air purifiers, I had to go out and buy my own.

Very upsetting and disappointing

Disliked: I definitely booked a NON SMOKING Room with booking.com and upon arrival in the evening the front desk clerk was not receptive. She was rude. Checked us in and we proceeded to the room. It was clearly a smoking room. When back to speak to her (Chantal). She was not pleasant and proceeded to tell us that the hotel was sold out and that she couldn't help us. She said that she could get in contact with a manager, but our refund wouldn't be for 5 to 7 days. We sat in the lobby and tried to find another hotel room within the area and all of them were sold out we had been on the road travelling for 10 1/2 hours and we just wanted to lay down our heads and sleep for the night to finish our journey. We ended up having to sleep in that room and it was literally disgusting even getting out of the shower and using the towels, they smell of smoke all our clothes that we had brought into the hotel stunk. I had to bring them all the next day and wash them all at a laundromat. I am thoroughly disgusted She blamed booking.com and that there wasn't anything that she could do. Very unhappy and disappointed.

Superb

A couple mishaps but overall...

Liked: The coffee at breakfast was good and the biscuits were pretty good to. I meant to ask that the Mainstay offer fruit!
Disliked: That there was no fruit.
