Disliked: I booked this hotel through Booking.com on 06/02/2025-06/05/2025. Upon arrival the hotel corridor and lobby smelled of THC. We were given room 201. As we walked through the halls to our room we noted very worn and tired carpet with bleach stains throughout, my teenager said to me "mom I don't know about this place". We arrived to room 201 and opened the door to find the WORST furniture that I have ever witnessed in a hotel or motel. Both arms of the sitting room chair the leather was completely ripped and worn terribly, the pull-out sofa was a disgust. More stains than I can describe, I've seen better more sanitary furniture on the curb ready to be pick up and thrown away. My son made it to the bedroom and upon entering we saw multiple roaches scurrying across the walls. We immediately went back down to the lobby and checked out, and booked at a nearby Embassy. Booking.com is refusing to refund my $297 because the property who I've spoken to multiple times is refusing to issue the refund on their end. Of note the manager Kyle has told me multiple times that he has entered a full refund, but it was all a lie. I have since filed a complaint with the MI Board of Health and Choice Hotels, next step to file a civil complaint for services not rendered and distress due to the time I've spent on this issue.

Disliked: Have rooms presentable if your looking to sale. It looks short staffed and the main areas including hall ways are dirty. First impressions are everything

Liked: Location is good, staff is friendly.
Disliked: We booked a suite but first given a single room. On complaint we were told that suite is not available due some system issue. On insisting for the suite we were asked to stay in the single room till suite is available at 4:00 Pm which then 5 Pm then 6 Pm then found it on 7;00 PM. Key pad of the single room was not working and we were stuck as we would not be able to leave the room open with our stuff. Later same issue with suite door. Then I specifically asked if they can use master key to let us go out and in for the day.

Disliked: The hotel called the police on me and police beat me brutally and no one tried to stop it. This hotel is setup to hurt women and men that were abused.

Disliked: The rooms were not in to stay in. The pictures are not updated at all. Elevators don't work. Bed was literally distroyed!!! LITERALLY!!. NOTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS GOOD. I'm from AZ and i had to wait DAYS before i received my money back. I used my last to book that place. Tried even calling corporate
