Mahoning Inn

Very clean and the people were very nice. The beds were comfortable and the noise level was low.

I would like to start by saying the manager, Bill Singh, is without a doubt one of the most polite, nicest , professional hotel managers in the business. He will do whatever it takes to make sure everything is right for you while you are staying there. The rooms are very clean and the helpers are very professional. I have stayed here quite a few times before a show or an event. It is priced right and very well worth the stay. I highly recommend Mahoning Inn.

Disliked: Electricity went out at 530 AM..still had hot water though came back on as we were leaving..looked like our room because others had their porch lights on. Quaint place..nice view up hill.

Liked: It was comfortable, clean, exceptional service, and ideal location for visiting Jim Thorpe.
Disliked: The coffee needs a little more love.

Disliked: The room clearly needed a bit of renovation and did not smell nice.

Liked: The only thing good was the location to Jim Thorpe
Disliked: The rooms were very musty. The property was constantly calling me to know what time we were checking in Days out they wanted to know our arrival time. They called me after my husband checked in to see when we were checking in. They called me at 4am on my cell to give us a wake up call using the wrong name. The wake up call was not for us. We are home now and I just received another call looking for someone else. I’m going to have to block their number if they keep calling

Liked: Excellent Location. Large Room. Comfortable. Quiet. Clean. Friendly. Nice to have balcony with wooded view. Like walk-in shower.
Disliked: Price was a little high, but it appears to be the typical rate for this area.
