We got engaged! It was the most perfect hotel to get engaged in - we know it will be there for 100 years and we can come back for our anniversary every year. The room was quiet, much larger than we expected - although it was older it had been updated nicely and we had a great time. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was a nice touch. However, we weren't there for the milk and cookies it sounded very nice!

Liked: The room was beautiful and much more than we expected.
Disliked: Could have used a few special extras in the room i.e. popcorn or silverware.

Overall pleasant experience. In general...

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, decent hotel room.
Disliked: The bathtub had dark stains. The sink was scratched up perhaps from just being old. No refrigerator in the room.

It was a pleasant stay,...

Liked: We stayed 2 nights not consecutive - the first night was noisy with a constant humming of a blower or fan was heard all night from the outside of the hotel, which in Denver is pretty common, requesting a quiet room is not always easy to get.The second night we were in a different room and it was much quieter without the constant humming.
Disliked: The humming of a blower or fan- noisy and noticeable when you are trying to sleep.

Liked: Really enjoyed our stay here! The lobby was nice and breakfast was actually good. Room was cozy with a super comfortable bed.Best part is the location - you can walk to the historic center in like 2 minutes. So convenient for exploring.Valet service was fast and easy, staff was friendly throughout, also pet-friendly with no extra fees. Would stay again!
