it was okay, but paying...

Liked: beautiful surroundings, quiet
Disliked: we stayed 2 times, the first was at the lodge, the second was one of the cabins. Both times we only had one hand towel for the 2 of us. The cabin had a kitchen sink but nothing to wash or dry dishes with, not even any paper towels. The lady helping with check in had a very negative personality and a bizarre affect

Indoor Glamping at Best

Liked: The overall facilities were beautiful and the Staff were mostly kind and helpful.
Disliked: The communication and knowledge was lacking. It appears the ENTIRE staff was new and unfamiliar with the business of hospitality. Rooms were NOT properly cleaned, there was multiple layers of lint and debris under the beds. One of the tubs had NOT been clean as it had a dark ring around the tub. I had to go buy some cleaning supplies just to bath the kids. Though the entire place was very beautiful, the facilities; especially the Cabins, are in need of pest control. The cabins were not properly sealed to keep larger pest. We ultimately had to purchase bug spray to help combat the multiple Spiders and roached that were in the room nightly. If you're one that likes to actually sleep outside with the elements in nature, this place would be a luxurious alternative.

Lovely, accomodating facility

Liked: There was no breakfast. We had a Keurig in our room and brought our own snacks. Microwave and small frig were nice. The room was enourmous!!! Beautiful lodge I have never seen the number of books for loan anywhere, not even on a cruise ship.
Disliked: It took about 15 minutes for staff to show up to check us in. No one to answere the phonw either.Absence of a quality restaurant in the vicinity.

Liked: The question in this box was how did we like breakfast???There was no breakfast. So cannot answer. The staff at the desk were very polite and accommodating.
Disliked: I always wonder why hotel rooms only have one luggage stand when most rooms will have two occupants and thought maybe this lodge might actually have a couple in the huge closet but only one was there. I did ask for a second one but there were none in their linen storage room.
