Great location, amazing staff, SUPER...

Liked: Great location, not far from queen street mall. Next door to Brisbane Private Hospital which is extremely ideal if you are visiting someone or have an appointment. I arrived 2 hours before check-in and the staff looked after my luggage and rang me when my room was available which I thought was amazing service. No fault with the customer service or the staff. Loved that it had an aircon and balcony!
Disliked: Unfortunately this was the nosiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I’m a heavy sleeper so I never complain about noise and find that i’m not picky when it comes to noises. However there were just too many noises to ignore. External sounds that are unavoidable for the hotel and are not their fault included the train coming and going every 5 minutes and birds that i have never heard of before, that sounds like children screaming (this goes on throughout the night). The building is quite old and dated however they have updated the rooms which was a plus but this meant that the walls were paper thin and i could hear everything from the rooms next to me as well. Overall I only needed a one night stay so was definitely doable. But if I was staying longer I wouldn’t be able to handle the noise.

Disliked: We had no hot water for a whole night and morning which made our stay this time not as pleasant. However, the hotel gave us a 50% refund on the money we paid.

Clean and comfy. Not perfect

Liked: Clean, had all the basics covered to make sure you can get a good night’s sleep. Has a restaurant downstairs which is handy.
Disliked: There is no light on the ceiling. Just bedside lamps and a lamp over the desk. The shower head is one of those large rain shower head ones. The water fell everywhere but down. These shower heads are annoying enough even when the holes aren’t blocked. Skip bins collected right outside my balcony at 5.15am.
