Overall, I'd recommend!

Liked: The room was tidy, and we loved the overall historical character of the place. The location was really convenient too!
Disliked: There is no one to answer the front desk phone between the hours of 9pm-9am. Unfortunately, we'd misplaced our car keys, and needed to reach out to the front desk to confirm their whereabouts. We had to wait until the first staff arrived at 8am the next day before we could find our keys and get on our way. Everyone was super friendly, but it's frustrating not to have anyone on phone standby for urgent needs.

Very good

Liked: The location was excellent - we were at a conference at OISE a mere four blocks away. And, all things considered, it was reasonably priced.
Disliked: That the air conditioning was not turned on before we got there. And then it took us a while to find it, and figure out how it worked.

Disliked: Sitting comfort. Curtains not possible to close. No fridge, and breakfast places 2-3 blocks away.

Liked: The location is great, Metro is nearby and more then enough restaurants in walking distance
Disliked: Overall the hotel could have a modernisation and renovation. But nonetheless, good airco and beds!

Liked: Outside look, location, relatively cheap to other hotels in the area
Disliked: The room is old, dusty and not cleaned well, we had stained on our pillow case, hairs on the shower walls and dust on all furniture.

Refunded stay due to BEDBUGS

Liked: Location was decent and it was close to restaurants
Disliked: My friend and I stayed in room 306 and I slept on the bed that was closer to the tv. Woke up at 3:30am with intense itching and baby bedbugs feasting on me, so we packed up and left right away. We knew no one would answer the reception phone at 3:30am but we still tried to call and then packed up and left. The hotel ended up reimbursing me after an investigation, I recommend people to stay away from this hotel.
