Why Concert-goers love it

Location is key—and Madison LES delivers. You're within easy reach of major venues in both Manhattan and Brooklyn, and the nearby subway lines make late-night returns a breeze. While it's in a lively area, the hotel itself is tucked on a relatively quiet street, offering a peaceful retreat after a high-energy night out. The 3pm check-in and 11am check-out give you enough time to rest and recover.

  • Catch local acts in intimate venues just blocks away
  • Hotel rooftop terrace great for pre- or post-show hangs

What People Say

Guests love the friendly staff, the clean and modern rooms, and the unbeatable location for both sightseeing and nightlife. Reviewers also mention the rooftop as a hidden gem with views of the skyline. The hotel gets nods for being affordable by NYC standards, especially considering its location.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms can be on the smaller side—typical for NYC—but they’re functional and well-kept. Breakfast isn’t included, and some guests noted that the elevators can be slow during peak times. Still, most agree it’s a fair trade for the price and location.

The Bottom Line

Madison LES Hotel is a clean, stylish, and budget-friendly base for concert-goers who want to stay close to the action but sleep in peace.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Disappointing

Liked: Location
Disliked: Breakfast is extremely poor. Missing forks, knives. Only a few items and they are missing from day to day. Cleaning could be better. The guy from the night shift was the only one interested in his job, they are nice and polite. A girl who works in a day shift is not interested in her job and sometimes it's rude. The whole staff are chiness and thay have some their business logic that not normal in Europe. For example that extremely poor breakfast they move from shelf in 5 min before end, never the less that dining room is pretty small. Noise from the street sometimes is very loud but that is the case in whole NYC.

Good stay but fix the...

Liked: Good location, a lot of places to eat nearby, and the subway is just a few minutes away. The room was good. They also called me a taxi to the airport, and it was superb.
Disliked: The shower drainage was not good, I had to close the water for quite a few times. Also you have to wait for a while until hot water starts going. It's not a big problem per se, but it would be helpful if they left a note about this or informed at the reception. It does get pretty noisy when you open the window. With the closed window it's fine, though the hotel is very close to the railway.

Good

Liked: Great location, next to two bus stops, which I mainly used; subway very close. Charming roof terrace, but quite a lot of noise from the trains on the bridge. The hotel is quiet despite the proximity of the bridge with trains. Nearby well-stocked store and places to eat. Very close to Lower Manhattan and attractions. About 15-20 minutes on foot. Close also to the river overlooking the Brooklyn bridge.
Disliked: The hotel is in the Chinatown district and the cleanest area is not though bearable. In one room there was a constant problem with the door. Breakfast very basic even by American standards. It would have been good to at least serve eggs.

Great location and value, but...

Liked: We had a good time staying at this hotel. It’s located in Chinatown, which turned out to be a fantastic base for exploring Manhattan – very well connected by public transport and easy to get around. The location was super convenient, and for Manhattan, the value for money was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch.
Disliked: Our duvet was a bit dirty, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned – there were visible stains that should have been taken care of. Also, there wasn’t much storage space, which made it harder to stay organized during our trip.
