4 star hotel where issues...

Liked: Location was superb, very close to louvre and so on.
Disliked: Very passive reaction / interest when presented with a problem. My charger disappeared from the room (either stolen or taken from the maid by mistake). When informed, reaction was passive - oh yeah, we never had that, so if we find it we send you an email. How does that help me, and how is that an appropriate response. My charger (30 EUR worth supercharger) is gone, and so is a future guest. Appropriate reaction would have been to contact the maid, ask around - instead the answer was "she already went home so we cant ask her". I would think twice of staying in a hotel where my stuff can be taken, and noone cares. Lets add the fact, that the humidity is crazy, the heating cant be controlled cause its central, the bathtub was broken (thus no option to take a bath).

Liked: Location goodWe had duplex on top floor with balcony and enjoyed having a cigar and whiskey at night when we got home and waching Paris go by below
Disliked: Our room needed a bit of a revamp to make it look like the picture that is not a duplex room
