Liked: Clean rooms. Great location. Rooms a little dated and dark but overall no real complaints. Great little restaurant right across the street.
Disliked: Rooms a little dated. Could use some updating.

Absolutely a clean motel with...
Liked: Macneil is under a new management, I appreciate their efforts to improve the facilities in the accommodations. The location of the motel is very convenient from the ferry and the Cabot Trail. The staff was very cooperative and tried to accomodate our requirements all the time. However, we felt that they need some more experience.
Disliked: Our room did not have a TV. We had to request for some tea cups which they promptly supplied.

Ok for one night
Liked: Location. Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: It was too hot in the room when we got there. The window had been opened, but did not relieve the heat. I turned on the a/c but I don’t think it worked really well. At bed time I had to turn off the a/c due to the noise. Tried sleeping with the window open, but it was too noisy from traffic (transports).The fridge in the room didn’t work either.
