Liked: Easy to find, carparking easyThe refund on breakfast.
Disliked: The staff attitude of indifference. Advertising emphasises how welcoming MacKays is, not when we stayed!!Got moved to a 3rd floor apartment (no lift) outside the main hotel, without explanation. Dinner was ok but overpriced for what it was. It took 20 minutes to even order breakfast and then it never arrived despite chasing it up. After 45 minutes I asked for (and got, from the more helpful receptionist ) a refund. And we certainly weren’t the only dissatisfied customers at breakfast.

Liked: Helpful staff, this place has a lift. Well located in the centre of Wick. Parking on the street outside the hotel was fine. Food was good in the restaurant next door.
Disliked: The decor was very bleak and felt like you were in the late 80’s.

Everything exceeded expectations

Liked: Room 35 was a one bedroom apartment, very spacious had period features and was extremely comfortable. It was well appointed very quiet and would recommend to others. All staff were very friendly and helpful
Disliked: Nothing
