Liked: Good gym and good swim pool. Friendly receptionist
Disliked: Lots of small things were compromised. The soap in our shower was watered down which was really annoying. It pretended it was Elemis .. but it was not much more than water.

Liked: Breakfast ok, but not great.
Disliked: Card in room saying if need room service or ice etc to contact reception, with a qr code. Qr code just leads to a notification with a phone number to dial. No phone in room. No reception on mobile. Wi-Fi terrible. No air con in room. No charging points or plug points near bed, only one other side of room.

Lovely Hotel - but not...

Liked: We love this hotel, bit our experience this time was not so good.
Disliked: We were put in a room on the ground floor, which really should be advertised as restricted view rooms, the window was surrounded by vegetation, no view, no light, definitely not a room we would stay in. The hotel was full so we went home. It was not a good experience. The hotel has been really good about it and we have not lost our money, but please can they cut their hedges back!

Liked: Modern with big rooms and space. Everything worked and the setting.
Disliked: Staff not the friendliest almost as if they didn’t want to be there. This compared to a lot of other hotels I’ve stayed in within the group.More obvious signposting from the car park to reception required. Food choice a bit limited and a trifle expensive. Has a poor rating on TripAdvisor.

Disliked: Food is rather expensive sometimes there seemed a lack of staff on reception and bar . At busy times they seemed a bit overwhelmed. However they were very friendly. Travelling on my own with dogs and staying 6 nights I had quite a lot of luggage and could have done with a bit of help with it but none was available so I had to make 4 separate trips to and from the room which was in the first floor.

Disliked: Room was smelling of cigarette smoke,I asked reception for house keeping, they sent a young chap from reception with some kind of liquid to scatter around as they did not have a spray.It didn’t work and we were not offered another room, although our suite was not as described on Booking. Com. We had to persevere as it was too late in the day to move on.
