Hotel Description
One of the most historic hotels in Scotland with turrets and spiral staircases Pittodrie House is set in 2400 acres of land just a 30-minute drive from Aberdeen. The rooms are individually decorated and adorned with family portraits. They all have a private bathroom with a bathtub a shower and a hairdryer. Tea/coffee making facilities are also available. The Mither Tap Restaurant serves fine Scottish food made with locally produced ingredients. There is a long list of malt whiskeys and wines; guests can relax in the Snug Bar or in the lounge. The hotel provides activities including golf clay pigeon shooting pony trekking and croquet. A selection of trout sea trout and salmon fishing is available on the Don Dee and Deveron.

Superb

Liked: Excellent location and a beautiful place Evening meal was fabulous and tasty.Staff were very polite and friendly

Old fashioned charm

Liked: Lovely old fashioned house hotel, iwth lots of original features in beautiful grounds. Staff friendly, efficient and welcoming. Room very large.
Disliked: An buffect of yoghurt and fruit, croissants and such like would be welcome, to speed up breakfast waiting time.

Enjoyed to stay but would...

Liked: Fabulous atmosphere really well decorated and had a lovely warm feel to it.
Disliked: No lift and there are a lot of stairs!

Fantastic hotel and grounds for...

Liked: The property has a very welcoming aura and is set in beautifully maintained grounds in a peaceful setting. Lovely to walk after dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. In particular Richard who served us each evening, who made us and all his guests feel special! We ate dinner and breakfast each day and the chef should be applauded.. fantastic! Our room (king) very tastefully appointed, was large and very comfortable.
Disliked: No complaints at all.

You won’t be disappointed. Was...

Liked: The grounds, the historical architecture, the beautiful setting, the food (OMG - it was delicious!), the rooms, and the staff. All was amazing. Was a highlight of our trip.
