Would not stay here again...

Liked: Not much to be honest, the best part was the view from the main building our room had the smallest window possible
Disliked: On arrival the staff behind the reception were so rude and seem liked they could not care about anyone other than what they were doing, the Breakfast was terrible and looked like it had been under a sunlamp for 3 hours prior! should you want a hard boiled fried egg then this is the place to go!!! Also noted that this place appeared to house Asylum Seekers!!....

Beautiful

Liked: I loved the location and the hotel is beautiful.
Disliked: The TV was located in a very odd place in the room so it was difficult to watch as we didn't do much due to my daughter being unwell.

Exceptional - 5.0 out of 5

Exceptional

Liked: The lady at reception, who greets you in a very professional maner. Reminds me of my old school teacher. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean.
Disliked: In the spa area there is no control of the young children jumping around, shouting and screaming, diving off the side, also a culture, who are fully clothed going into the swimming pool, this feels weird,it needs regular visits from staff to keep control of the guests.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Laura Sun, 6 July 2025

Disappointing.

Liked: Room was very spacious and clean with comfy bed. The staff were friendly and polite. Great central location. Off site parking was a very short walk.
Disliked: The hotel is very dated and tired. Our room, while spacious and clean, was unbearably hot. There were two plug in fans in the wardrobe (suggests this is a common problem) which we had on all night. They were loud and barely made a difference, so we didn’t sleep well at all. Before we went out for our evening meal we wanted to have a drink in the hotel. We were told by a staff member, who was very polite and clearly busy, that he was on his own, they were really short staffed and he had to deal with room service requests before he could serve us. We waited around 10 minutes but decided to go elsewhere instead. The hotel lacked any sort of atmosphere. When we came back around 11pm, everything was shut so we still couldn’t get a drink. Although I believe room service was available, there was only a food menu in the room, nothing about drinks. In the morning, the breakfast room again was very dated. The furniture was mismatched and the chairs were at breaking point. The food was average, but there was plenty of choice for both hot and cold options. We paid £250 for one night and £25 for parking. I didn’t feel this was value for money at all. The car park is semi secure but of poor quality, barely visible parking bays, uneven surface and likely not enough space per room, so unsure where you would park during peak tourist season. Overall, not value for money and somewhat a disappointment.

Very pleasant stay.

Liked: The room was exceptional! Big and airy perfectly sized for a family of 3 the bathroom especially. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and decent quality produce.
Disliked: Lifts were broken so we had to walk the stairs to the top several times daily with a young child. The times when children are alllowed in the pool were a little strict and the pool was a little on the cold side.
