Liked: Great location, looks like a nice hotel from the outside.
Disliked: Standard room should be called a well below standard room, mould on tiles on silicone around bath, carpets thread bare and filthy, tea stains on paintwork, cobwebs plaster falling off , filthy rusty window paintwork shocking, seal around shower filthy and snapped in half , blackout curtains wouldn't fully close, dye to slopped ceiling allowing lots of light in on the morning. We checked out after 1 night of a 3 night stay and got reimbursement for the 2 nights left.There was no manager on site while 2 days later to deal with my our issues regarding standard of the room, then when i went back to raise the issue the manager didnt want to see me and discuss my issues we got no apology for the inconvenience caused, he just left the poor young receptionist to refund me the night stay and left her to deal with it. Very poor management. Luckily found a budget hotel around the corner got a family room that was very clean much bigger and cheaper by far.

Perfect location for access to...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable, albeit a little smaller than I'd like. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, were happy to store my bag for me after I had checked out, so I could collect it later.
Disliked: I was in room No. 112 on the first floor, which is directly adjacent to a corridor fire door. Unfortunately, although fitted with a door closer, the door would slam shut which woke me up a few times during the late evening/night. This needs attention, either an adjustment of the closer or a new closer, so it closes quieter.A fridge in the room would be nice, although the room may be too small to accommodate.
