Great find if you not...

Liked: Beds were so warm, comfy and cozy. Room was spacious enough for me and my two boys. Fantastic looking entrance hall, dining room
Disliked: We stayed for a night so would have asked for extra towels and there was no cups on the teas tray. You could see that over the years maintenance wasn't completed to a high spec ( money/time/talent???) but I wasn't expecting The Ritz. Everything was there just a little tired.

Liked: The bar and dining areas were good
Disliked: The room was not clean, the bed linen was torn and had stains. The toilet should have been cleaner

A lovely dog friendly hotel...

Liked: Room was warm and comfortable and most important, dog friendly. We didn’t have evening meal but the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice both hot and cold. The staff were very warm and friendly, especially Amy on reception.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Good sized room. Grounds were nice.
Disliked: Staff disinterested, having been here 30 years ago to a wedding, standards and decor etc have gone backwards, but that is sadly normal these days!

Liked: Breakfast was very nice
Disliked: The room & the bathroom were very tired , dirty marks all over the doors they need a good scrub, we didn't like touching them had to use a tissue each time to open. The door to the lift was filthy looked like it hadn't been cleaned for years.
