Ruined Christmas and birthday/Christmas shopping...
Liked: The breakfast
Disliked: The fact that our car was broken into whilst being parked in your car park. Your staff member noticed my car alarm was flashing going off at 9pm on Saturday 14th November, but said he did not see a broken window, which clearly would have been visible if he actually inspected my car like he said he did!, but was not made aware off this until Sunday at 10am. Then to be told by a member of staff upon check-out that a little incident had happened . Did not even call the police for us, and did not tell us the car had been broken into, until we walked out and seen for ourselves " our car window had been smashed and our belongings had been stolen" the alarm had been noticed at 9pm the night before, then your member of staff said she noticed the smashed window at 8am on the Sunday 15th. And we had went for breakfast at 8:15am in the Sunday and walked passed her twice. And she still did not mention anything to us until we were checking out at 10am. Your car park had no lights on from arrival at 5pm when it was dark, no lights were on at all in the car park area. And you do not have CCTV at all for guests in the parking area. Our Christmas has been ruined by lack of care from this hotel. Due to Christmas shopping being stolen and car being damaged.. and now out of pocket for lots of money. Not what you would expect from a large chain hotel like this... avoid at all costs****

Liked: Very nice clean and comfortable. When we arrived the staff couldn?t be nicer. We got asked what time we wanted to go for breakfast (as we had booked b&b) and we said 8am, then the member of staff said ?actually we only have 1 slot left for breakfast at 9:45am) which we thought was a little late as we had to check out by 11. We are very Understanding with Covid ect but for to be asked then told in the same sentence didn?t make sense. Same with the spa/pool, we tried multiple times to get through to them from our room and nobody answered at all, when we did get through, there was no swim/spa slots left for the duration of our stay, which wasn?t great as we couldn?t enjoy the facilities we had paid for. Overall it was a nice stay but we didn?t get to use any of the facilities available apart from our own room.
