Comfortable and convenient for local...

Liked: Staff very helpful, modern golf-spa hotel with lots of facilities.
Disliked: Restaurant rather slow in the evening, asked to come back later and seemed overstretched; not really what I would expect given the price bracket (£40 without drinnks/desert)

Liked: Located in a great setting overlooking the golf course and a friendly team.
Disliked: Room decor was tired and could do with a coat of paint on the walls and skirting. Shower tray failed to drain properly and room would have benefited from the windows being opened to give it an airing before guest arrival. Food overpriced for what was provided.

Liked: Most of the staff were very pleasant. Gentlemen in breakfast room didn’t accept that the fresh fruit salad was not edible as the melon was off and fizzed in your mouth. I’m glad we were not paying £24.95 for breakfast. Very limited choice and funnily enough no fruit salad on offer on the second day. Also we were told they didn’t have any salmon. The best of it was there was a £5 supplement if you ordered it !!!!Bought three drinks at the bar at the cost of £28 , asked for slices of lemon to be told they had ran out. I could write more …….
Disliked: Poor lighting in the room. Old dark furniture. Needed a good clean. Mould around shower tray.
