Wonderful location, very relaxing.

Good, but room for improvement.

Liked: Location is excellent. Grounds are nice and well maintained. Very good restaurant. Good pool.
Disliked: Friendless of staff varied. Some were very nice and helpful, some were quite blunt. Cleanliness of room wasn’t the best - undusted surfaces, toilet not properly cleaned, hairs on bed sheets. Room could also do with a deep clean.

Charming old timey country hotel...

Liked: Lovely serene location. I enjoyed the gnocchi for dinner and croissants and fruit at the continental breakfast buffet. There were friendly staff at reception & in the restaurant. Some aspects of the building felt a little outdated and could do with a freshen up, but it was charming.
Disliked: Some mould in the shower grout. Reception area/hallways smelt a bit like cigarette smoke.
