Overall, a very relaxing and...

Liked: Pool - both pools were kept to a very high level of cleanlinessGym - was well equipped and easy to use. The leisure staff were very helpful and friendlyLocation - the hotel is a little out of the way but as the road is not too busy walking into Lymington was refreshing
Disliked: The ground floor apartment we used suffered from other quests parking right outside the living room on double yellow lines. I would propose that "Do Not Park" signs are used to prevent this occurrence.

Liked: everything.... location, decor, friendliness of staff and the atmosphere.
Disliked: if I have to be picky, the carpet in our room was very threadbare in one place.

Liked: Fabulous building and grounds in good location. A place with so much history and character.
Disliked: Tired in places.Very hard and uncomfortable beds in our apartment. Do check before booking if you have any sort of back/hip issues. I'm still suffering!

Loved the outdoor swimming pool...

Liked: The grounds are beautiful with excellent outdoor pool. Very well-equipped kitchen in spacious apartment Very friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: The furnishing of the room is a bit dated and tatty in places. The balcony needs a bit of an update and a lick of paint.

Three great days spoiled by...

Liked: Setting, views, quality, staff, rooms and weather.
Disliked: Food available from bar - very limited and expensive. I am certain that this resulted in the magnificent terrace being nearly empty on a beautiful summer’s evening.Cost of food in main restaurant.The dish washer in our apartment ‘burnt out’ resulting in the last 15 hours of our stay having no ground floor electricity no fridges, tv,kettle, or ground floor sockets. The burning smell made my wife very fearful so as there were no other vacant rooms we had to sleep on the sofa rather than upstairs.
