Pleasant quiet and relaxing in...

Liked: Good selection and pleasant staff at breakfast and attractive quiet restaurant for dinner with average prices.
Disliked: Carpet in the room is dirty so we couldn't go barefoot because it made my feet dirty.

Liked: Really liked this resort, but areas of it were looking past their best. Our room had a brand new bathroom which was lovely but it did highlight how dated and tired the rest of room was. The beds were clean and had comfy mattresses and bedding.Liked the rooms going straight outsideThe grounds are kept lovely.
Disliked: Certain areas of the hotel where spotless whilst others need a refurb, the spa ladies tiolets are one of those and relacing the rusty radiator we had in our roomFor dinner we had thought the Solent restaurant would be open, but were told it only does breakfast and afternoon tea now. So we went to the Waterford restaurant which was lovely, but I felt overpriced.

Lovely hotel.

Liked: Upgraded room was well worth it. Nice big size. Breakfast good and breakfast staff excellent. Grounds are amazing and well worth an explore.
Disliked: Very expensive bar (London prices ++). Cleanliness a bit poor. Some small things I would normally expect, for example instructions for Nespresso coffee machine were in the room but no coffee machine which is the normal standard for this type of hotel. Water not replenished. Bathroom definitely needed either refurbishing or a deep clean.

Liked: Beautiful grounds and great facilities. Had a fantastic stay with staff who were incredibly helpful.
