Don’t waste your money

Liked: The pool
Disliked: The prices. Normally, I expect a robber to wear a mask - but no, the MacDonald Crutherland staff are quite happy to let you see their faces when they are robbing you blind. For a main, 3 sides, 2 soft drink and 2 alcoholic drinks - I’ve had to take out a bank loan

Very pleasant surrounds, a comfortable...

Liked: We were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise, very comfortable - I especially like the offer of fresh milk and the coffee machine was a welcom addition.
Disliked: The pool was a little to highly clorinated which I find a agrivating on the skin. A cold pool/plunge would complimet the sauna, it is not so easy to cool down in the shower in between sauna sessions. It was also very busy when we used the pool, I would try to find a quieter moment. Also the overhead lights really kill the atmosphere in the main hotel, who needs them when you have a good number of nice looking sidelights which are far kinder and create an inviting ambience. Overhead lights are for cleaning and shopping malls.

It was a very expensive...

Liked: Staff were friendly & lots of car parking spaces
Disliked: Decor was dated & some items in the room were broken. There was no toiletries available such as body lotion or hair conditioner.

Extremely disappointing stay would not...

Liked: A lovely building
Disliked: Tired rooms, broken sink plugs, could not swap rooms due to coach parties, room service no phone and qr code did not work so had to walk to reception to get milk and after an upgrade which we paid for. Even the email address on booking . Com to get in touch with managers during our stay did not work.
