Overall, a wonderful stay and...

Liked: The property is beautiful with an amazing location and outlook. I brought my partner as a birthday treat, he loves to fish. Our room overlooked the weir, he loved this and the view of the Thames. Easy access to the high street, and bars/restaurants. Wonderful place to stay.
Disliked: The only issue we had, was the bar doesn't accept cash yet the staff member was unable to get our card payment to go through, as the connection was so slow. We waited at the bar for over 10 mins before he suggested we take our drinks to the garden, and he would bring the payment terminal out to us. This worked as a solution eventually, although not ideal when there was a queue forming behind us. In these circumstances, perhaps cash payment should be an option to avoid long queues and customers standing around waiting.

Disliked: We reserved a table for two by the window for dinner at 2000, when we arrived table had been taken, when we spoke to Hula she gave the impression that we were lying and tried to put us on a table in the corner for 5 or 6 people As it was our anniversary we insisted on a table for twoWe had to wait until 20-30 for a table for two, while we waited we were not even offered a drink The meal was ok but my steak was very poor When we asked for the bill we did not receive an itemised bill just the total,

Liked: Location was perfect, room was very tired, could have been cleaner, view was obstructed and kitchen extraction on next balcony ( smell ). Looking around all of the Hotel it is obvious it needs a total refurb. Would definitely come back once refurbished.
Disliked: As above.

Very pleasant, extremely accommodating staff...

Liked: The room was very well presented, clean, plenty of room and had all the necessary facilities. Bed was very comfortable and it was nice o have a television on a hotel that actually received channels.
Disliked: The room could have done with a few USB and/or USB C sockets to charge phones. The breakfast was okay. The full English breakfast was cooked well but for the additional cost on the room charge it was quite meagre, one slice of bacon, one mushroom, one tomato and one sausage!!

Relax in luxury and comfort

Liked: Gorgeous location. Wonderful views. Comfortable seating areas inside and out. Charming ambiance. Friendly, very helpful staff. Good food and drink. This was the perfect place to enjoy a short reunion with old friends. Such a fabulous escape from stress and worry. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here.
Disliked: Bigger bottles of water put in the fridge to be cold to drink. More storage. Minor, picky things...

Very comfortable and relaxing!!

Liked: Only thing that really disappointed us was we had a cot in our room for my great granddaughter and the base of it was broken which we had to build it up but! Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay!!!!
Disliked: Just the cot as everything else was brilliant!!
