Liked: I loved the spa, swimming pool and sauna. Our bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The restaurant could have done better. For our anniversary we really would have liked a steak; it was not good to say on 2 nights running they ran out on Thursday night. We were left sitting for ages to place an order. Water should be left on the table. They never returned to ask if we would like a dessert - and after 30 minutes with no waiting staff in the room we left. For the buffet breakfast they ran out of mugs for tea and spoons at breakfast. I would have liked more egg options than just fried, and mushrooms too.

Pleasant stay with spacious rooms...

Liked: Spacious room, very quiet, plenty of parking and steam room and sauna recently refurbished
Disliked: Bed was a bit soft. Also left my watch charger in the room by mistake, so I called reception, as soon as I got home and they said someone from housekeeping would get in touch, buy nobody did.

Disliked: We booked for 1 night only. Solely because we needed to be well rested ahead of a long day and we could have breakfast then have a swim and get a massage before we left in the morning.We had dinner in the hotel the night beforeI didn't fancy any of the starters so ordered a main which came out shortly after 9pm I was still hungry and when I tried to order dessert I was told it is too late the kitchen is shut.So we had a gin at the bar and went to bed.I was still hungry but I knew breakfast would be substantial so I only had to wait until the morning.I tried to sleep but it was incredibly hot and I couldn't get the air con to work. After tossing and turning for 2 hours I ended up calling reception at 12.45 to ask if someone could help with the air con. I was told unfortunately it is broken there's nothing that could be done.I asked for a fan was told they would try and find one and get it to the room. I didn't receive a fan and received no further communication from reception.I wanted to leave and go home and return in the morning but my partner didn't want to.We went for breakfast which was great then went for a swim which was fine but hadn't anticipated there being a class going on in the pool taking up three quarters of the pool for the hour we wanted it.My partner had his massage which was fabulous and dropped the key in the box and left.I had fairly low expectations for the price that I paid but being left hungry not being able to sleep were two things I hadn't anticipated when I booked.

I would most definitely not...

Liked: the Pool and sauna facilities were great.
Disliked: staff were very rude and blunt, Service was extremely slow 25 minutes to get a drink whilst standing at the bar.. food was an hour wait but came out before the drinks we ordered to the table . rooms were very tired-curtains hanging down...By no means is this a 5 star!
