Bad

Liked: The hotel was nice we was looking forward to our deluxe accommodation being on the top floor having suffered a stroke in January climbing all those stairs where quite an effort.The television in bedroom did not work our first night in restaurant was not good we ordered selection of bread as starter which was stale which we sent back.Twice we had breakfast on both occasions we ordered toast which we did not receive.My partner ordered eggs benidict both eggs were hard an dry overall I was disappointed considering this was my partner's birthday surprise I hope this can be rectified for your future guests. Great hotel. Suitable for people...

Liked: Room was great. On ground floor as we asked for. Dog friendly. Tea and coffee facilities in room and a coffee machine. Also a fridge and fan.
Disliked: Bit of TLC needed round the bath as moldy and needed cleaning and replacing.

Liked: Great location in Woodstock, very close to lots of pubs and restaurants.
Disliked: The room was quite warm although a fan was provided.

Wonderful night's stay

Liked: Authentic hotel and extremely comfortable rooms. Wonderful village location very close to Blenheim Palace.
Disliked: In one or two places repair was needed (the odd window) but it's clearly a beautiful old pub/hotel so it's to be expected.

Overnight stop

Liked: Cosy and comfortable. Lovely room and bathroom.
Disliked: Poor welcome on arrival - no staff on reception and then not particularly welcoming, just efficient.Breakfast wasn't great. Limited selection of continental things and the cooked breakfast was not good unfortunately - the ingredients seemed of good quality but everything had been fried. No toast offered.
