Liked: Bar staff was amazing, reception staff were super friendly and helpful for our last minute booking.

Disliked: Decor a little tired in bar and room

Nice hotel, lovely room, but...

Liked: Nice hotel, very historic. Lovely room. Nice food.
Disliked: The wifi didn't work well. We had to pay for the car parking, which as it was the hotel car park seemed a little greedy, considering we paid a lot for the room.

A thoroughly good time in...

Liked: Everything was fine, absolutely no complaints, they even upgraded us.
Disliked: The sausage, you needed a chainsaw to cut it!

Liked: the location was great and the hotel was full of character
Disliked: some of the staff were quite rude, the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was over priced and not very tasty. when breakfast is included on your room rate you don’t expect a £6 supplement to have avocado and toast!!!

Great location with the best...

Liked: Perfect location for visiting Blenheim Palace, it’s just a couple mins walk away. The hotel is lovely with a nice courtyard. we had a standard double room on the 2nd floor which was more spacious than expected. Parking onsite which although was £10 was worth it as very convenient.Tesh the barman is an absolute legend and an asset to the hotel! He absolutely made our stay much more enjoyable than it would of been. He is a mixologist and made us some incredible cocktails that weren’t even on the menu. Great location explore surrounding areas too.
Disliked: Apart from Tesh who was amazing, some of the other staff were less so. Long wait for cooked breakfast which was just ok. service wasn’t too great either until Tesh arrived. (They charge £26 for this if not included in room rate, which is completely overpriced)
