Complete disaster and Health and...

Liked: The location is central to Aviemore
Disliked: Where to even start. I have tried to contact the manager but sadly have not been able to reach anyone with the email provided by reception. Shortly after arriving, my child used the bathroom and closed the door behind her. When attempting to exit, she pressed down on the handle, which detached completely from the door. The solid handle then fell on her foot, causing distress and pain. My partner and I scrambled to reattach the handle from the outside, all while trying to calm our distraught daughter. Had she been alone, she could have easily become trapped in the bathroom. This is a serious safety hazard.Attempted to use the provided hairdryer, only to find that it was defective. The fan inside failed to function, resulting in burning smells and sparking. I immediately returned it to reception, only to be handed a replacement that also overheated and began glowing orange after less than two minutes of use.We also observed a substantial 3cm gap between the room door and the floor. Given that this is marked as a fire door, my understanding is that such a gap should not exceed 1cm. Not only is this a potential safety breach, but it also raises concerns about privacy and noise. The overall cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. After our daughter accidentally dropped a pen that rolled under the master bed, I looked beneath and was appalled to find a thick layer of dust, debris, old toys, and other unidentifiable grime. The bedding, too, appeared to have stains that looked disturbingly like dried blood.

Not worth the money

Liked: Friendly staff and great add ons
Disliked: Room and coridor was extremely dated, scuffed walls, furniture and mould around the window. We were moved from the original hotel booking on the other side of the road (witch looked a lot more modern)

Disliked: lift was broken - hotel tired looking and food esp for kids very expensive

Liked: It was nice that most activities were free. My child loved what was offerred. We ate at two of your restaurants, Aspire and Giovani's. Both were very good and appropriately priced for what we got. It is dissapointing that the highland fish bar did not have a gluten free option.
Disliked: The breakfast was not great. My family considerred going out for breakfast after the first morning even though we had breakfast coverred by the hotel. This should really be looked at.

Fantastic experience and would definitely...

Liked: Fabulous hotel, so much to do and see, very big. The swimming pool was a huge hit with the kids. The breakfast selection was big and delicious.
Disliked: The distance between some of the facilities, we weren’t aware of the distance between our hotel and the swimming pool. We had to venture outside and had to walk 5-10 minutes without any clue where we were going, directions given wasn’t good. The lift wasn’t working, and we were a couple floors up to our room. Italian restaurant was closed on a Saturday evening.

Disappointing not good value for...

Liked: Very dated lift not working had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with cases
Disliked: Very dated badly in need of decoration and lift fixed

Disliked: LIFT OUT OF ORDER. Was allocated a room on third floor. Someone did carry luggage up but once I left in the morning couldn’t just go back as I’m an elderly person and three flights of stairs is a lot. No notification that lift out of order
