Lovely hotel but the initial...

Liked: Beautiful property. Room and spa facilities excellent along with a delicious breakfast
Disliked: On arrival the receptionist was very inhospitable - rude and unpleasant which was very disappointing. On asking a second time for room directions (in a hotel we didn’t know) she was very, very abrupt.

Good

Liked: It is a good experience but you need to change the carpets immediately. You must place some in door and out door activities for Kids . You have alot of space outside so that the kids could spent a memorable time .
Disliked: Overall good experience except a few like cleanliness. Carpets and curtains should change immediately.

Ok but wouldn’t book again

Liked: Great location, easy parking nice bar area
Disliked: Room was similar to much cheaper hotel chains, for the money I expected a lot more.

Very good

Liked: The location was perfect for touring the city. a short walk over the river and you are in town centre. The facilities were good to exceptional.
Disliked: The bed itself was a bit slanted- kept rolling toward one side. The lock on the bathroom door was not operational.

Superb

Liked: Staff were polite, friendly and swiftly sorted out a mistake in room allocation. Breakfast was varied for all diets and preferences. Our room had good facilities and in good condition. Hotel was in an excellent location for our purposes being only a 5 mins walk from the town centre.

Liked: All clean, people friendly, room nice, location close to town
Disliked: Never like hidden costs - why do we pay for hotel (that has car park and breakfast), and then get charged £7/day parking fee as well as £5 supplement on some of the breakfast items (like salmon and eggs).
