It was ok. We hike...
Liked: The location to Jim Thorpe and hiking was very convenient.
Disliked: VERY NOISY. The noise from the traffic was unbelievably loud. The motel is very close to the road. Our room was an odd layout. Beds were in separate rooms. Normally when we get 2 full beds me and my husband each sleep in a bed (we are so used to our king bed so fulls are small to us) so sleeping separate in 2 different rooms was odd to us. No table in the room to eat at. No microwave. The heat and hot water worked great. Toilet would run for awhile after flushing. Room service was great. We didn’t think we would have it but she cleaned up and made our beds. Got fresh towels. No hair dryer. Basically, in a nutshell the rooms are very dated. Clean but dated. You can tell the money is spent maintaining the restaurant vs the rooms.

Liked: Great location, very close to Jim Thorpe. Check in was smooth. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, and a great value, especially for the area. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. The staff for both for both hotel and restaurant were wonderful. Highly recommend!
