M Social Hotel Paris Opera

Good stay in a larger-than-average...

Liked: Hotel was very nice for the price, size of the room was great for Paris standards and very pretty! The elevator was so special and so unique. Our room faced the main street and was still very quiet inside. Wifi was solid.
Disliked: Front desk staff could have been friendlier and I thought having to pay to rent an umbrella was a bit ridiculous.

Unsatisfactory

Disliked: Hotel foyer is dark , depressing and has a rather old musty smell The furniture in the lobby is dirty and in need of cleaning or replacement . The room is tiny really only suitable for one person .And although effort has been made with the interiors and decor of the rooms overall the Hotel is old crusty . Way better options especially in this price bracket . Definitely did not feel I got value for money and won’t be back .

Excellent hotel and rooms, wonderful...

Liked: Excellent room with wonderful amenities, super comfortable beds with superb room decor. Loved that there was a fridge available to store cold drinks in which came in super handy on the hot days we visited Paris. I really must praise the hotels concierge and bar staff. They're wonderful! Very friendly and attentive with superb customer service skills. The housekeeping staff are wonderful too! the rooms were made up perfectly! Thanks so much! I absolutely loved our time at the M Social Hotel Paris Opera. We'll definitely be coming back and I'll be looking for M Social hotels to book with when I visit other places!

Although there are some things...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent with freshly baked goods on premises and eggs cooked to order. Delicious orange juice. Room was clean and comfortable. Water in the shower was hot and plentiful. A dinner at the restaurant was very good. Old and charming elevator that worked better than some newer elevators.
Disliked: Tub was very hard to get in and out of. No grab bars in the tub. Door lock malfunctioned multiple times causing repeated trips to the front desk. A faulty alarm sounded early in the morning causing the need for all hotel guests to evacuate the hotel. Light over the bathroom mirror was burnt out.

Charming hotel in a great...

Liked: Convenient location, very clean and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast and service from all hotel staff was excellent.

Superb

Liked: I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to key sights, restaurants, and public transport. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable.
Disliked: One thing to note: because the hotel is in a lively area and in a main street, it can get a bit noisy at night, which might make it harder to sleep for light sleepers.
