Liked: My sisters and I were in desperate need of a break from the non stop day to day and the plans finally made it "out of the group chat" when we stumbled across Montcalm East!We didn't know what to expect but let's just say expectations were exceeded! Everything was absolutely perfect from the super welcoming staff- especially Abdullah (I hope I have spelt that correctly) whom I understand was extremely helpful to my sisters when they checked in, to the delicious food, to the very comfortable and clean bedroom (the heated bathroom floor

Nice modern hotel in Shoreditch
Liked: Clean, modern with great facilities and great staff
Disliked: The food was ok - though breakfasts were good

Fantastic
Liked: Super friendly. Our room type wasn’t available at check in. Team went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Excellent service
Disliked: Very Clean. Great location. Breakfast was fantastic and quiet with dark curtains

Would have been good if...
Liked: I like the bathroom & the bed is comfy
Disliked: The whole carpet in our room was damp which left an awful smell. Couldn’t relax because of the stench, then our room couldn’t be changed because they were fully booked. Tv would have had more options.

Liked: Everything was great.. The receptionist who checked me in was very understanding and hopitable. The room was lager than expected so a nice surprise.. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Upon booking , The payment details stated at £251, £50 was a deposit. Upon arrival to the hotel , I was informed that this is not the case and I had to pay £50 deposit.. I was informed that 3rd party bookings get this information wrong at times... As a customer the wrong information can lead to unexpected additional cost...Clarity in the finer details is essential.
