Liked: Beautiful house with tasteful interior design in a peaceful environment and view on the river with cows in the background. We adored the place and have been hosted wonderfully. The homemade breakfast was delicious. We even were able to charge our electric car.
Disliked: Everything was perfect.

Liked: The might’ve been the best place we’ve ever stayed in. It was plain superb! Joyce and Gerry are amazing hosts, so thoughtful with absolutely everything. You get tea and cake every afternoon in the guest lounge which also features a working fireplace (it was quite cold while we stayed here) and an honest bar. The garden looked lovely, but it was too cold to use it. The room was great with so many lovely details and little touches (for example the complimentary box of exquisite chocolates). The breakfast was maybe the best we’ve ever had, all sourced locally and incredibly delicious! We hope to return soon!

Tremendous stay.

Liked: This is am amazing house with large rooms, tall ceilings and a grand staircase all beautifully decorated and fitted out. Immense attention to detail in how the rooms have been designed and furnished. Very welcoming hosts.Pretty large mature gardens, with views over the river and farmland with hills looming in the distance. We ate locally for dinner but the breakfasts were wonderful. All of the food was of high quality including a lovely selection of fresh berries. The hot options were cooked to order.A great stay. We even saw some red squirrels on one morning.
