Liked: Everything was great, good location, friendly staff, will be returning again
Disliked: The Internet wasn't great in the room

Liked: Beautiful hotel, beautiful location, food was fab, excellent pool & spa facilities
Disliked: 4pm check in is very late, receptionist also told us they would call when room was ready but didn’t & when we reattended to get our key it felt that room had been ready for some time. With check out @12, check in @4 seems excessive

Liked: Pretty grounds.
Disliked: The property is beautiful, but the very large part of the hotel greatly detracts from the older part of the hotel. The decor is very poorly done and detracts. The staff, while polite, are not well trained. Pretentious for a mediocre country inn.

Fancy hotel with a little...

Liked: Beautiful estate. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! The gentlemen at the front door were amazing!
Disliked: Everyone was a little snobbish. A little far from the city center. One of our rooms had a weird smell and we called but no one checked.

Liked: Lovely venue, friendly staff (the porter adds great character), great restaurant options, close to Kilkenny town. Really nice breakfast.
Disliked: 4pm check in was inconvenient however I think is becoming standard.
