Beautiful place; big rooms; comfortable bed; host was very knowledgeable about the Lexington area. Place was very clean and breakfast was delicious. If we are ever in the area again, we will be staying there. Definitely recommend this place to stay when visiting the Lexington area.

At Lyndon House B&B, you don?t have to imagine a bygone time; you enter it! Everywhere the eye falls, you are affected by intricate 19th-century workmanship. A full-length sunroom and magnolia-clad garden beg sweet tea and a delicious book. Our suite was so amply supplied and comfortable that even after a week, we did not want to leave! Anton, the finest of hosts, is a wealth of local history and cuisine! Lexington is our new home from home, by way of The Lyndon House B&B!

Very nice but to expensive.
Disliked: Rates are very steep compared to B&B's of similar quality that I have stayed at.

Beautiful house walkable to downtown...
Liked: The house has been beautifully restored and is in a great location, about a 10-minute walk to downtown and several historic houses. Anton is an attentive host who gave us information about local attractions. For breakfast, a main dish was offered but there were other choices, including breads, cereal, fruit, or made-to-order eggs or French toast. I appreciated being able to control the heat -- we could turn the thermostat down at night and when we were leaving for the day, then the room heated up very quickly when we returned. Enjoyed seeing the lovely Fayette Park neighborhood nearby.
Disliked: Having a private bathroom outside the room was a minor inconvenience, but we knew that when we made the reservation.
